Fullmoon Ritual : January

This full moon is the first of our new decade.

The full moon provides time for reflection. She encourages us to liberate all that is useless and gives way to the advent of brighter things. By recognizing the elements that need to be abandoned in our lives, we invite inner healing, purification and renewal. Plants & crystals are a good companion for these rituals.

PLANT OF THE MONTH: THYME. Thyme has magnificent properties especially in the pulmonary sphere. It also helps digestion supports concentration and relieves fatigue. Its active principles are anti inflammatory and antiseptic. The symbolism of thyme is used to purify places, it repels negative energies. It accentuates clairvoyance, reinforces the subtle spiritual connection by acting on the third eye, the center of our intuition. Known to be the plant of courage.

THE STONE OF THE MONTH: Amethyst: Calming the mind, Peace, healing, balance, intuition, protection.

CHAKRA FOR THIS FULLMOON: Coronal chakra (Sahasrara) located at the top of the head. Let the purple light get stronger.

1- Create a sacred space free from distraction.

2- Purify the space by burning the thyme, place your stones and objects in front of you, light a candle, and prepare a bowl of water.

3- Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth 5 times. As soon as you are relaxed, think about the past two weeks. Think of all the things you have accomplished and the obstacles that may have prevented you from achieving your goals.

4- Put on a list of the aspects that you wish to eliminate from your existence: a bad habit, patterns of negative thoughts or the name of a person whom you need to free yourself emotionally.

5- Burn this piece of paper. Focus on releasing any negative energy from your life. Sit down for a few moments and think about the benefits of eliminating this negativity in your daily life and how it will allow you to move forward while refocusing on your intentions.

Happy full moon
