AUDREY-ALIZEE SICOT
I’m Audrey-Alizée Sicot, an entrepreneur, space holder, and eternal explorer of the inner world.
My path has taken me from creating high-end lifestyle experiences to a much deeper exploration of embodiment, emotion, presence and connection. Over the years, I’ve followed many different doorways into this inner world: yoga, meditation, sound, movement, voice, Reiki, plants, stones, freediving and the subtle language of the body.
But what I love most is creating rituals.
I love turning ordinary or meaningful moments into something we can truly pause for. A beginning, an ending, a transition, a celebration, a new intention, a moment of change or simply a need to come back to ourselves. For me, ritual creates a space to slow down, feel, listen and give meaning to what we are experiencing.
This is at the heart of AYA.
Voice
Voice has become one of my most important doorways.
Through singing, sounding, chanting and spoken guidance, I experience the voice as a way of expressing what words alone cannot always hold, and as a way of coming back into the body.
It’s not about performing or having the “right” voice. It’s about allowing sound to become an expression of presence. This is why voice naturally weaves through the rituals and spaces I create, alongside piano, meditation, movement, silence and sound.
The Ocean
Freediving entered my life as much more than a physical practice. It became another way of understanding myself.
To descend beneath the surface, become quiet, meet the breath, surrender rather than force, and trust the body has changed the way I understand presence, fear, control and softness.
Freediving is my own doorway into inner truth.
My practice informs everything I share, but the spaces I create are never about depth, performance or achievement. They are about the meeting of breath, water and presence.
This is where Beneath the Surface was born.
Inspired by my relationship with freediving, it is not a freediving class. It is a ritual in water, an invitation to slow down, become quiet and listen.
Through gentle preparation on land, meditation, breath awareness, shallow-water breath retentions, silence, journaling and reflection, we explore the space between control and surrender.
The water becomes a mirror. The breath becomes an anchor. And there is nothing to prove.
The tools may change, but the intention remains the same: to create meaningful spaces where people can slow down, reconnect and honour where they are.
Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers, while a profound rupture in my own nervous system forced me to slow down and completely reconsider the way I lived. It taught me to honour my limits, listen to my body and understand the difference between pushing through and truly being present.
I’m trained in Yoga (RYT200), Yin and Therapeutic Yoga, Reiki and Womb Healing, and continue to explore Quantum Healing, Human Design, for free diving AIDA1 and AIDA 2. But much of what I share has also come through lived experience: through motherhood, the body, voice, the ocean and learning to listen.
Today, my work is really about creating rituals for life: moments to pause, mark something, feel something, celebrate something, release something, or simply come back to ourselves.
