Benefits of sweet potatoe
What do you know about the sweet potatoe?
It is an incredibly nutritious food that contains antioxidants such as beta-carotene, vitamins C, E and D and minerals such as manganese and iron. They also have a high potassium content who lowers blood pressure, helps eliminate excess sodium and regulate fluid balance. These sweet treats are anti-stress because they help to relax muscles and nerves.
They are easy to digest and are helpful in ulcers. They have a compound called phytochelatins that help remove heavy metals from the body.
A very easy recipe is to wash the sweet potatoes well, and without even peeling cut into slices or pieces of about 2cm, put in a container with a little salt and olive oil and baked 15/20` in the oven, you can add any spice you like.
You can store them in the fridge and use them as a wild card. It goes well with almost everything (I even have it for breakfast before going to the gym!)
It really is a comforting, satisfying and very healing food.
